UAE Terror Designation (2014)
Islamic Relief Worldwide — the international parent organization of Islamic Relief USA, which Cornyn has repeatedly endorsed — was officially designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates in 2014 under Federal Law No. 7, citing direct financial and operational links to Hamas.1
Israel independently banned the same organization for the same reasons.2
Islamic Relief USA is the American fundraising arm of Islamic Relief Worldwide.
Muslim Brotherhood Roots
Islamic Relief was founded by individuals with documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood — the ideological parent of Hamas, designated a terrorist entity by multiple governments.3
